Phonics
From CopperWiki
Phonics is a way of teaching reading and spelling that stresses symbol-sound relationships. It is based on the understanding that there is a predictable relationship between phonemes (the sounds of spoken language) and graphemes (the letters and spellings that represent those sounds in written language).
Popularly used today to teach English to beginners, Phonics has been found to be a useful way to teach people with Dyslexia.
