Toys companies such as Lego and Playmobil (both companies have impressive green policies) don’t use gender-bending plasticizers in their products. Organic toys such as Käthe Kruse’s beautiful organic dolls can be passed on to their own children.

Eco mums can make their children "born veggies" if they consume fruits and vegetables during the period of brest feeding. This will give the babies an early start to healthy living. This has emerged from a study conducted by doctors atMonell Chemical Senses Center, Philadelphia, on 45 infants between 4 and 8 months of age.

Breastfeeding, the researchers report, seemed to be tied to the infants' initial acceptance of green beans and peaches — but only if the mother regularly consumed those foods. The report said that flavors from the mother's diet are transmitted through amniotic fluid and mother's milk. So, a baby learns to like a food's taste when the mother eats that food on a regular basis
